Reaktor Brings Leading Software Development Experts to Finland
Finnish software developers get to code with the gurus of the field
The software company Reaktor arranges Reaktor Developer Day event on 2 September 2011. In the event Finnish software developers have the opportunity to code together with the world's leading software developers. The speakers and coding training instructors include Scala programming language developer Martin Odersky and Akka developer Jonas Bóner.
Reaktor Developer Day is open to all software developers. The event will offer interesting and current topics and hands-on sessions where participants have the opportunity to code together with the top experts of the field.
The confirmed keynote speakers of the conference are Martin Odersky (Switzerland), Jonas Bonér (Sweden) and Thomas Fuchs (Austria). Other speakers will be published later.
Martin Odersky leads a research unit focusing on EPFL programming in a Swiss university. Odersky is best known as the developer of Scala programming language. He has also written the original Java reference compiler.
Jonas Bonér is experienced in JVM virtual machine development and a forerunner of AOP technology, and he is also known as e.g. the developer of the AspectWerkz library. In the past few years Bonér has focused on Scala programming language, and particularly on developing the Akka library that supports the implementation of scalable systems.
Thomas Fuchs has developed the script.aculo.us-JavaScript library. He is also known from the development teams of the popular Prototype library and Ruby on Rails application framework. Fuchs is constantly in the forefront of the JavaScript based web and mobile development and shares his expertise on the web as well as in international conferences.
