Reaktor and Typesafe Enter Partnership
Reaktor has entered into a partnership with Typesafe, best known as the developer of the Scala programming language and the Akka library for scalable and fault-tolerant computing. Reaktor and Typesafe will organize training around Scala technologies and promote the adoption of Scala in Finland.
"We are very proud of our collaboration with Reaktor. They have proven their solid Scala experience in practice. They're also fun to work with!", said Martin Odersky, a Typesafe founder and the creator of the Scala language.
Odersky visited Finland with his Typesafe colleague Jonas Bonér in September. They presented a keynote at the Reaktor Dev Day conference around the scalability of Scala and Akka.
The first joint training under this partnership will be organized February 2-3, 2012. The instructor is Trond Bjerkestrand. Further information.
